In preparing this Register of
Nova Scotians lost while serving in the RAF, Commonwealth Air Forces and
the US Air Force, I am grateful for the information gleaned from Les
Allison and Harry Hayward's epic work, "THEY SHALL GROW NOT OLD"; to Terry
Wadden; son Donnie; Jim Lovelace, DFC; Abbie Neville; the C.W.G.C.; family
members and others who assisted in the gathering of information for my
use. It has been a labour of love and a partial fulfillment of my
obligation as a veteran to remember our War Dead. |
