The Carmichael Stewart House was opened as a
museum in 1965 by the Pictou County Historical Society. The society
consists of a board of directors - which is made up of a president, secretary,
treasurer and directors - and members.
The membership committee is always looking for new
members to join the Pictou County Historical Society. To become a member the
annual fee is $10 for an individual, or $15 for a family, and will entitle the
member to attend our annual meeting, seasonal newsletter, information on
upcoming events and displays, and your name will be featured within our museum.
