Historical Society

The Carmichael Stewart House was opened as a museum in 1965 by the Pictou County Historical Society.  The society consists of a board of directors - which is made up of a president, secretary, treasurer and directors - and members.

 The membership committee is always looking for new members to join the Pictou County Historical Society.  To become a member the annual fee is $10 for an individual, or $15 for a family, and will entitle the member to attend our annual meeting, seasonal newsletter, information on upcoming events and displays, and your name will be featured within our museum.  If syou are interested, don't hesitate to contact the museum

The Board of Directors are in charge of all aspects of museum operation. The board members are:
