Antigonish

Antigonish Town & County Library is one of seven branches in our regional library system and is located on the corner of Main Street and College Street. We offer a full range of free services and access to the resources of all Nova Scotia public libraries. Antigonish Library is a Community Access Program (CAP) site, sponsored by Industry Canada and the Nova Scotia Technology and Science Secretariat. At the Antigonish Library you can access a wireless hotspot to high speed Internet.

An after hours bookdrop and 24-hour checkout is available at the Library entrance.

The Pictou-Antigonish Regional Library Board will provide non-profit groups with meeting space free of charge in the Library Program Room, when not in use for library activities. These meetings are to be of a non-fund raising, non-revenue generating nature. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject requests for the use of meeting space. Regular Programming at the Antigonish Library

• ABC's for Babies
  • Tuesday mornings at 9:30 am. Call or email for more information.
• Preschool Storytime
  • is available for ages 3 to 5 years on Monday mornings at 10:00. You must register in advance by visiting or telephoning the Library. For more information regarding children programs call 863-4276.
• Young Readers Club
  • meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at 3:00 p.m.
• Teen Readers Club
  • meets the 1st Monday of the month at 3:00 p.m.
• Book Club
  • meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 8:00pm. Call or email for more information.
