Raymond-Ville was a short lived late 19th century settlement of French immigrants who left their home as a result of the Franco-Prussian War. They located in the south boundary area of Pictou County, Nova Scotia, between the communities of Lorne and Trafalgar.

The memory of these settlers is kept alive through documents and artifacts collected by Pictonian John Ashton. He invites you to learn more about their experience as representatives of Nova Scotia's rich cultural mosaic.
