A Smoking Cessation program for Women is offered by Addiction Services at Lindsay's Health Centre for Women located at the Antigonish Women's Resource Centre

The Marguerite Centre offers a residential holistic program for women recovering from addictions and abuse. It is a 12 bed, long-term residential facility located in the Halifax Regional Municipality and is staffed 24 hours a day.

The Centre works to use education and awareness to address the prevention of problem gambling and to connect people with treatment resources in the community.
