Name: Tracy Langille CommentsHi, I am trying to find the date of death and burial spot for a Mrs. Jessie Fraser (n. Sutherland) born in Ferrona, NS circa 1880-1890. Died around 1901-1906, wife of Hugh Fraser. Can anyone help? Name: Michele Doucette CommentsWilliam Stewart and Agnes Brown emigrated to Nova Scotia (Canada) with their sons, William Brown Stewart and Thomas Stewart. It appears as if banns pertaining to William Stewart and Agnes Brown were published at Craigie on January 15, 1819 with the actual marriage taking place on January 29, 1819 at Tarbolton. William Brown Stewart was married to Janet/Jennet Simpson, daughter of Andrew Simpson and Jane Archibald. We know that William Brown was a Blacksmith. He was from Ayrshire County, Scotland (born 16 Jan 1824 and christened on January 27, 1824 at Tarbolton). William Brown Stewart and Janet/Jennet Simpson were married on November 11, 1867 in Merigomish, Pictou County, NS. I am thinking, therefore, that William Stewart and Agnes Brown (the parents of William Brown) also resided in the Merigomish area. Has anyone connected with this family come across a date and place of death for both William Stewart and Agnes Brown? Might anyone know where they are buried? I am hoping that these additional pieces of information might actually cite the names of their parents in Scotland, along with other pertinent pieces of information regarding their birth.
