Teen Songwriting Contest @ PARL

Since 2008, PARL with the support of the local music community, media and businesses have sponsored a Teen Song Writing Contest at PARL, open to students in Pictou and Antigonish Counties in Grades 9 – 12.
All you need to enter is a PARL library card, and a song!

The top 3 songwriters win awesome prizes, from guitars to recording sessions.

Music on the Patio

Join us each Friday at noon for live music on our patio as the New Glasgow Library hosts a different act each week during July and August featuring the talents of our Pictou County musicians. Enjoy your lunch while listening to music or using our free Wireless services. Free admission.
