Book Clubs Teen Advisory Group

Teen Advisory Groups meet at the Antigonish Library on the 1st Monday of the month at 3:00 pm. and
at the New Glasgow Library on the last Wednesday of the month at 3:30 pm.
All Teens Welcome!

Book Clubs Teen Readers Clubs

Teen Readers Club meets at the Stellarton Library the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 4:00 pm. For more information please call the library at 755-1638.
Antigonish Library also offers a Teen Readers Club on the 1st Monday of the month at 3:00 p.m. For more information please call the library at 863-4276.

 
Teen Reading ClubNational Online Teen Readers Club

Join the national, online Teen Readers Club at www.teenrc.ca . Teens across Canada can join, submit online book reviews, and win prizes. The website is supported by BC Libraries, and moderated by librarians.

Writing Groups & Workshops

During the year the library offers several writing workshops at all our library branches – from short stories, article writing, playwriting to screen writing, and personal mentoring sessions too through our Writer in Residence program.

There is also the Pictou County Writers Group, open to all writers of all backgrounds and experience. They meet twice a month.

  • 1st Tuesday of the month at the Westville Library, at 6:30pm
  • 3rd Monday of the month at the New Glasgow Library, from 11 am 'til 1pm.

NFB Film Club @ the Library

Join us for the presention of award-winning films and documentaries at various library branches. Free admission. Nature trail
Pictou County Naturalists

The Pictou County Naturalists group have monthly guest speakers and evening presentations, on various topics from bats to walking paths. The PCNS meets the 1st Tuesday of the month, at the New Glasgow Library with a social at 6:30 pm, and the presentations starting at 7 pm. All are welcome!
