| Cullan, Albert |
|
Sergeant Albert Cullan of the 52nd Mountain (Lowland) Division.
Served in Flushing, Walcheren, and many more battles. He was also
involved in the liberation of concentration camps at the end of the
war. There is a Book written about the Regiment called 'The mountain
and the Flood' - based on their training in the mountains for
invasion through Poland, and their susbsequent role in the
floodlands of Holland! Interesting read! Albert Cullan was injured
during service - blown up by a mine, and died on Dec 15th 1997 in
Aberdeen, Scotland. |
