Celebrating Our Heritage!

Celebrating our Heritage: The History of Westville was published in 1986 as a project of the Westville Heritage Group. For the first time the history of the Town was gathered together in one place accessible to all. It was in this same spirit of community pride that this digital edition was prepared so that a wider audience could enjoy the story of an important Canadian town. 

This project is a partnership of the Westville Community Access Program Committee and the Pictou-Antigonish Regional Library. Funding for the project was made available through Service Canada. We would also like to thank the Westville Heritage Group for providing permission for this edition from their original work.

Data entry, formatting, and design for this edition was completed by Andrea Murray in the Westville Library and CAP Site. Supervision was provided by the Pictou-Antigonish Regional Library.
