Nova Scotia's Industrial Centre was published in 1916 as a celebration of the success of several towns in Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Canada. This digital version is part of a long term project, conducted by the Pictou-Antigonish Regional Library, to preserve local historical materials and make them accessible to a larger audience. The original copy of Nova Scotia's Industrial Centre, used in this project, was donated in the memory of the late Irving Sutherland of Rossfield, Pictou County, Nova Scotia by his wife Mary Sutherland. The original may be viewed at the New Glasgow Library.

The digitization of the book was completed by Jolene Shaw and Andrea Currie during the summer of 1999 as part of a summer youth contract. Pictou-Antigonish Regional Library acknowledges the valuable assistance of the Nova Scotia Technology and Science Secretariat and the Community Access Program.
