Fitness Facility Passes @ Your Library: Formerly "Fun Fit Pass"

Our Fun Fit Pass program is undergoing a major overhaul - including a name change! The following Fitness Facility Passes are now available at your Pictou County public libraries:

• Letters of Referral to the YMCA are available from your local library, thanks to the YMCA of Pictou County's Community Referral Program.
• Facilities included: Pictou County YMCA, Pictou County Wellness Centre, Pictou Fitness Centre, and Pictou Pool.

What is a Letter of Referral to the YMCA? How do I use it?

As part of the YMCA Community Referral Program, a Letter of Referral may be picked up from any of our Library branches. Just let any of our branch staff know you're interested in this program, and they will give you your letter!

Bring the letter to the YMCA of Pictou County Membership Services, and redeem the letter for 1-month free trial YMCA membership.

How often can I use a YMCA Letter of Referral?

You can redeem one library-provided Letter of Referral to the YMCA, per household, per year.

Photo ID: YMCA requires anyone 16 years or older to show government-issued photo ID to activate the 1-month free membership.
